How to Link Google Scholar to Snow College Library Resources 

 

 

Many articles in our databases are accessible through Google Scholar.

To get direct access to Snow College articles using Google Scholar, you need to first set the library link in Google Scholar to Snow College.

Follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to https://scholar.google.com
  2. Click on the left corner menu icon, select Settings from the menu.
  3. Click on Library Links on the navbar along the side of the page.
  4. Enter Snow College in the search box, click the magnifying glass button to search for Snow College.
  5. Check the box in front of all the Snow College options, then click Save in the lower right corner.  NOTE: to keep the Snow College settings, you must be signed into your Google account.  If you do not have a Google account, simply repeat the process each time you use Google Scholar.
  6. After conducting a search in Google Scholar, you will now see on your results page a link titled Snow College Libraries on the right side of the article information.  A link to Snow College Libraries means that the library has a subscription that provides you access to the full-text of the article.  Clicking the Snow College Library link will take you to a page that will display the full-text of the article. 
  7. If you are searching Google Scholar while off-campus, you will be prompted to enter your Badger ID and banner password before gaining access to the article
