Introduction

This guide will help you with many of the basics involved in constructing a paper.  This is not a definitive guide, but simply a tool that may help you writing papers.  For further information on form, style, and content please contact your instructor.

Topics include: formatting page numbers, using chapter templates, footnotes, images, and figures. Topics such as special pagination for the front matter or landscape pages and combining documents are also included.

Using Word 2010 Effectively For Your Dissertation

Even though this is specifically written for Dissertations, there are still many practical applications that can be applied to general papers.  However please consult the Style Guide you are using and your instructor for more specific information.
